Holiday Stroll preparations begin; sign-up today to participate!

Franklin Holiday Stroll to be Thursday, Dec. 7

Santa and his elves, Mrs. Claus, the tree lighting, carolers, holiday crafts, entertainers, gifts for sale, and more!

The Franklin Downtown Partnership will kick off the holiday season with the ninth annual Holiday Stroll on Thursday, December 7, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. downtown.

The festivities will begin with a tree lighting ceremony on the Dean College campus common, complete with carolers, hot chocolate and a visit from Boomer.

From there Franklin's favorite holiday party will continue throughout downtown Franklin, where festival goers can stroll along a closed Main Street and up and down East and West Central streets to enjoy entertainers, gift shopping, crafts and gingerbread cookies, and festively decorated store fronts.

Santa and his elves will greet kids at Simon's Furniture, and Mrs. Claus will be reading holiday stories at the Franklin Historical Museum.

Businesses and groups who would like to participate can contact Holiday Stroll Co-chair Pandora Carlucci at pandora.carlucci@gmail.com

More information about the Holiday Stroll will be posted here on the FDP website and on the Partnership's Facebook and Twitter pages.
