Calling All Creative Kids!

The Historical Museum is holding a "Night of the Pumpkins" carved pumpkin contest during our Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 6

School-age kids from 2nd to 8th grades are invited to carve a pumpkin and drop it off at the Historical Museum between 11 a.m. and Noon that day. The carved creations will be judged at 2 p.m., and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Cookies and apple cider will be served.

The Historical Museum, 80 West Central Street, is just a short walk from the Children's Area behind Rockland Trust and the Fire Station. For more information about the Franklin treasures showcased at the Museum please visit their website, http://www.franklinhistoricalmuseum.com
